The highly anticipated Torchlight: Infinite Season 14 (SS14), themed "Tartarus," is set to launch globally on October 16, 2026. This new season introduces the "Tartarus Prison" mechanic: players take on the role of a warden, hunting down fugitives across Netherrealm maps. You will collect prisoner nameplates and manage inmates within a prison "sandbox," leveraging the food-chain-inspired relationships between them to upgrade their quality. Ultimately, you must quell prison riots to earn substantial rewards.

The update also introduces the "Followers" system. Four types of mercenaries - Wolf, Rat, Lion, and Mammoth - can accompany you into battle, automatically casting their own unique skills and opening up fresh possibilities for character build crafting. Furthermore, the season brings new Hero Traits, brand-new active and support skills, updated Hero appearances, and a complete visual and skill-effect overhaul for the "Flame Forger" boss - all combining to deliver a revitalized ARPG experience.

Seasonal Requirements

With the start of SS14, all player progress is reset, putting everyone back at the same starting line. In the early stages of the season, the primary goal is to rapidly progress through the campaign, unlock the Netherrealm, and gain access to the Tartarus Prison mechanic. To successfully tackle endgame content, gear crafting is essential. "Flame Elementium" - the most critical endgame crafting material in Torchlight: Infinite - serves as the core resource for enchanting high-tier gear and replacing affixes.

At the "Arms Dealer" crafting interface, unlocking the fifth and sixth affixes on a piece of gear requires Flame Elementium. It also functions as a primary currency for trading gear and materials between players in the Auction House. At the start of a new season, demand for Flame Elementium skyrockets. Since farming it manually is extremely time-consuming, many players - preferring not to sink excessive energy into repetitive, tedious map farming - choose to buy Torchlight: Infinite Flame Elementium. This allows them to quickly stock up on crafting resources and finalize their seasonal builds as early as possible.

Beyond Flame Elementium, there are other essential items such as Flame Dust, Flame Sand, various types of Fossils, and materials for Pacts (Pets/Spirits). Different stages of character progression require different types of currency and resources. During the early-game progression, you will rely on Flame Sand and Flame Dust to upgrade your basic gear. As you reach the endgame, crafting "end-game" (BiS) gear for advanced builds, developing Memories, and upgrading Spirits will all require a significant amount of Torchlight: Infinite currency.

This is especially true for the new Follower system introduced in SS14; unlocking and upgrading mercenaries consumes a vast quantity of materials. If your currency reserves are insufficient, you may find yourself stuck in the progression phase, unable to experience everything the new season has to offer.

Having an ample supply of currency allows you the freedom to experiment with various builds, sparing you from the tedious, repetitive farming otherwise required to gear up your characters, Therefore, I suggest you come to IGGM.
